Park City Architect

Park City architect Bruce Taylor brings green building principles to life in his mountain living designs by implementing passive solar and energy efficient design principals, and ensuring their execution by suggesting local and sustainable materials for construction.

Practicing architecture in Park City since 1989, Bruce consciously creates the open and positive relationships that he shares with his architectural clients. He believes that questioning and dialogue lead to a creative evolution of the design to better meet the homeowner’s needs, personalities, and lifestyles. People who have worked with him find the design process works, and return to him again and again. As one repeat client says, “From the original interview with Bruce, you will find that you are working with an open-minded architect who will endeavor to embrace your architectural design needs. He problem solves, and the final design works for you, the site, and the neighborhood.”

Bruce finds that design does not need to be compromised by building an environmentally sensitive, sustainable building that is mindful of its setting. “Green design is simply another design parameter to work with. Some of the best traditional and contemporary homes are environmentally conscious, so I encourage like-minded clients to keep their expectations high for their architect to design a beautiful and functional building,” explains Taylor.
